Well my diving all started back on a holiday to Greece in June 2009 when Sarah and myself visited the island of Zante. I'd been to the island some 5-6 times already and just loved the island life.
As we was trying to fit things in like go carting (yes she lost again) we found ourselves in Keri and before you know it were doing a Discover Scuba. Well I loved it the next day did my first boat dive to around 10-12m's.
On returning to to England I signed up to do my PADi Openwater Diver Cert which I passed and went straight onto the Advanced Open Water Diver and passed both by late August 2009. It was on this course I met George (he's alot to answer for) since then we have been dive buddies traveling all over the UK to dive within the last year.
In the september I signed up for my Rescue diver along with my EFR (Emergency First Response) it wasn't long after George also passed his Rescue diver course.
Before starting this course I'd managed to complete a number of specialities :- night, underwater navigator, PPB, Search & recovery, Nitrox and dry suit which gained me the PADi Master scuba Diver Cert.
By this time we'd both wanted to go on and do the Divemaster course which is the first profesional course by PADi.The Divemaster course was done at Wraysbury and took a few months to complete and finally I passed this in March 2010 a few days before flying to the Maldives.
I've currently just completed my PADi Oxygen Provider course and the days are growing nearer for the start of my EFR instructor course.
The month of september 2010 is also taken with my PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor course IDC, with the PADi Instructor Exams in Bristol on 2-3rd October 2010. Well course was passed and so was the Instructor Exam and I finally passed as a Diving Instructor.
